Canyon Rio is offering a fun course for beginning and intermediate
kayakers who want to learn skills like reading whitewater, bracing,
rolling, eddying out, and much more. We also cover basic kayaking
safety. Courses are held on New Mexico’s scenic Rio
Chama or Utah's spectacular San
Juan River. Raft support accompanies the class down the river.
Cost (Per Person)
 $750 if we supply a kayak, spray skirt, paddle, PFD, and helmet
$650 if you supply a kayak, spray skirt, paddle, PFD, and helmet
The prices includes certified kayak instructors, raft support
with guides, and delicious meals — all you need to bring is
personal and sleeping gear. Once you sign up, we’ll send you
a list of items to bring, as well as directions to the site.
